Áttan was the biggest comedy group in Iceland from 2016 - 2019. In 2016, Áttan started to release their own music with producers Lárus Örn and Ingi Bauer. Their first song, Vinir, was a medium popular song but couple of months later the song NEINEI was released. NeiNei was so popular that people thought Áttan had bought the views on their YouTube music video. NeiNei became one of top 3 songs of the year in 2017. Áttan released the summer song Ekki Seena after its success with NeiNei which became an instant hit too. The next few years Áttan released a lot of songs until they quit in 2019.
